What is CEE?
The Common Entrance Examination (CEE) is the National Medical Entrance Exam that is held by the Government of Nepal – Medical Education Commission (MEC).
MEC takes this common entrance exam to enroll students in bachelor level medical-related courses all over Nepal.
The CEE Exam opens the door to different prestigious colleges and universities in Nepal. There are medical and paramedical fields in medical colleges and institutions where the students will be able to get into with CEE examination.Â
Students passing this exam can enroll in MBBS, BDS, BSC Nursing, BAMS, BSC MLT, BPT, BPharm, B Ophthalmology, BPH (Bachelor in Public Health), and BNS (Bachelor in Nursing Science) within the country.
The CEE exam should be passed not only in national colleges and universities, in international and abroad countries, this entrance exam is mandatory to pursue further study.
Who is Eligible for CEE Examination?Â
To be eligible for the CEE Entrance Exam, the following criteria should be met.
- Completed Plus 2 or equivalent degree with a minimum 50 % aggregate i.e., 2.4 GPA in a Science Stream(Physics, Chemistry, and Biology)
- Grades equivalent to plus 2Â eligibility in the A-level program (Certificate-level program)
- Completed Health Science Proficiency certificate/ Diploma with a minimum 50% aggregate (General Medicine, Medical Lab Technology, Ophthalmic Science, Dental Science, Pharmacy, Ayurveda, Radiography, and Physiotherapy)Â and must have registered in the relevant council. (Nepal Health Professional Council, Nepal Pharmacy Council, or Nepal Ayurveda Council following the relevant educational program

When is the CEE exam in Nepal?
The Common Entrance Examination (CEE) in Nepal is conducted every Year. Medical Education Council provides the schedule of exams with specific dates, times, and places in its notice.
