ehealthsewaNepal Red Cross Society manages CEHP (Community Empowerment for Health Promotion Program) in collaboration with Swiss Red Cross since 2001. The service of this program are implemented Mid-West Region (MWR) of Nepal. The core services of CEHP are Community Health and WASH, HIV prevention, sensitization of NCDs and strengthening capacity of Red Cross and community network. The program is mainly implemented in Jajarkot, Dang, Rukum, Rolpa and Dolpa districts.
Position: Senior Health Program Officer (Level seven)
Number: One (only for female)
Duty Station: Nepalgunj, with frequent travel in program districts
Duration: Contract period up to 31 December 2017
Minimum Requirements:
- Master in public health or B.Sc. Nursing from recognized institute. Extensive practical experience (3 years for MPH and 5 years for B.Sc. Nursing) on community health and water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) sector; good understanding of government policy on health care system. Excellent communication, coordination and facilitation/presentation skills, report writing, computer skills and fluency in English language are essential. Age bar is 21- 35 yrs.
