Pharmacy colleges in Nepal are approved by the Nepal Pharmacy Council at the diploma and bachelor levels. To ensure that students receive appropriate education for their professional registration and subsequent development and careers. Diploma in Pharmacy is a three-year course after SEE. Students, after passing the SEE, must secure a minimum aggregate result of 45%, and those willing to pursue a future career in the field of pharmacy can join the course.
The main objectives of this program are:
- To prepare a supportive technical human resource for the pharmaceutical industry and laboratories, and capable manpower for quality control, drug control, and rational use of drugs
- To develop leadership qualities in pharmacy professionals who can manage the rational supply of pharmaceuticals and promote the rational use of drugs within the health care service and the private sector.
