Master in Pharmacy (M.Pharm) Entrance Exam Syllabus by Medical Education Commission 2020 of Nepal Government is as follows.  Master in Pharmacy or M. Pharm, in short, is a two-year or Four-semester course run over multiple colleges by different universities in Nepal. In M. Pharm there are   there are two specialization areas currently in Industrial Pharmacy and  Pharmaceutical Care

IOM ENTRANCE EXAM Nepal 2020 Dates and Details

A. Eligibility for Master in Pharmacy (M.Pharm) 

1. B. Pharm or equivalent degree recognized by the government of Nepal
2. Registered in Nepal Pharmacy Council
3. Candidates should score a minimum of 50% (Pass Marks) in the Entrance Examinations conducted by the Medical Education Commission to be eligible to be on the merit list

B. Exam Format: of Master in Pharmacy (M.Pharm) 

1. Single best response type with Multiple choice questions
2. Four options (A, B, C, D)
3. No. of questions – 200
4. Recall: understanding: Application – 30:50:20
5. Duration – 3 hours including a one-time voluntary toilet break

C. Weightage or Marks for the Exam 

Academic Calendar of M. Pharmacy Entrance Exam 

• Notice for Entrance Exam:- Second week of Baishakh (Fourth week of April)
• Entrance Exam:- Second week of Jestha(Fourth week of May)
• Result of Entrance Exam:- Third week of Jestha(First week of June)
• The admission process to be completed by:- First week of Shrawan (Third week of August)
• Class starts on:- The second week of Shrawan (Fourth week of August)
• Annual/Semester Exam:- Second week of Ashad/Poush (Fourth week of July/January)
• Result of Annual/Semester Exam:- Second week of Shrawan/Magh (Fourth week of August/ February)

Documents Required for the  application form

• Self-attested photocopies of academic and character certificates from SLC onward
• Self-attested photocopy of citizenship or passport
• Two recommendations (preferably one from the academic supervisor and another from the present employer and in case of an unemployed candidate, both can be from academic supervisors of the institution of recent graduation)
• Work experience letter (if applicable)
• Three recent passport-size photographs
• Self-attested photocopy of migration certificate (submission of original is required at the time of admission)
• Bank voucher of application processing fee payment
• Sponsorship letter (compulsory if applying for a corporate seat)
